Fit at Founders provides Founders College students the opportunity to participate in free fitness classes taught by certified instructors.
The classes take place from September to April in each academic year and offer a variety of fitness activities. Since the program's launch in 2012, we have offered Yoga, Zumba, Pilates, Muay Thai, Women's Self Defence, Breakdancing, Aikido and Salsa classes. All classes take place in The Arthur Haberman Room (023 Founders College).

Fit at Founders 2016/2017
We are pleased to announce that Fit at Founders has returned with a new lineup of fitness classes for you, our students!
Yoga Wednesdays (6:00pm to 7:00pm)

Kelsie Wakefield (Yoga)
Kelsie is a mixed lineage yoga instructor with over 1000 hours of training in ashtanga, vinyasa flow, restorative and classical yoga. She brings a playful yet attentive approach to her classes and blends strengthening and flexibility work for a complete practice. Currently a 4th year Kinesiology student, Kelsie combines the classical spirituality of yoga with a modern understanding of functional anatomy and exercise physiology.
When fitness classes are not in effect, the Arthur Haberman Room is used as a social/study space by students.
