Student Orientation

Student Orientation at York consists of two parts:  York Orientation Day (which includes Founders College Academic Orientation) and Social Orientation (a.k.a. Frosh Week).

York Orientation Day / Academic Orientation

Wednesday, September 6, 2017 | 1:00pm to 8:00pm | CLH L*

During Orientation, you will be introduced to the tools you need to excel in your studies at York.  Orientation events are designed to help you make a smooth transition to university life.  You will be introduced to your program of study and the academic services, social and recreational activities and other facilities available to you, both at Founders and throughout the university. We will help you make connections.

* Curtis Lecture Hall is building #26 on the campus map.

A light supper is included and there is no cost to attend but you are responsible for your own parking costs.

4:30-5:00pm Campus Tours
5:00-6:00pm Dinner (Founders Assembly Hall - FC 152)
6:00-8:00pm Welcome Ceremony (York Lions Stadium)

Frosh Week

Social Orientation Week (aka, Frosh Week) is organized each year by Founders College Student Council.
