Hi everyone! My name is Reem Mohammed and I am in my fourth year of Human Rights and Equity Studies. I am exceptionally passionate about conducting academic research on vulnerable minorities and discovering new narratives and approaches in the process. I am also looking to pursue post-graduate studies in the near future. As an international student I understand the struggles that come along with transitioning into a new atmosphere and would love to contribute to helping new students feel more supported. Over the past few years, I’ve spent the majority of my time on campus volunteering for different student-run clubs, such as Unicef or WUSC, which allowed me to engage with other international students on campus while contributing to raising awareness for human rights issues. As a P.A.L I look forward to providing a safe space for students to discuss their goals, aspirations and concerns!
